TM81 is a 2 x 64 channels wire harness tester providing a cost effective testing and quality control tool for cable and wire harness assembly.
It consists of a main tester unit, PC software and customized test fixture. Window XP based software has intuitive GUI, test plan is generated automatically and the tabulated report can be used as rework instruction.
Test fixture is customized for different wire harness types and connectors. The built in precision SMU (source measure unit) measures the electrical connection from connector as well as within the connector. The results are tabulated and compared against the stored data taken from a known cable assembly or wire harness. Test results are stored for statistical quality control and improvement process.
